Operating procedures for pressurized pipeline hole-opening equipment:
(1) Complete preparation of equipment. According to the diameter of the main pipe and the size of the bypass hole to be opened, as well as the medium pressure in the pipe, select the corresponding main and auxiliary machines, and check and confirm that their specifications, models, and pressure levels meet the requirements of the good operating conditions. Prepare the operation record book and assign a specific person to be responsible.
(2) Connection between the hole-opening machine, the connecting box, and the cutter. Check the connecting surface and O-ring between the connecting box and the main machine. After cleaning the surface, connect them as a whole. Check whether the opening and closing of the connecting box stop valve are tight and normal.
(3) Manually extend the drill rod of the hole-opening machine to a certain length, clean the matching cone and the screw hole, check the transmission flat key, install the barrel cutter on the drill rod, use a special socket wrench to screw the center drill into the drill rod, tighten the disc cutter and make it concentric with the drill rod.
(4) Check whether the U-shaped card of the center drill is flexible. Calculate the chord height of the saddle block of the bypass hole to be opened, and check whether the position and size of the measured U-shaped card can meet the size requirements for hooking the saddle block.
